Description

‘The Pastor’s Kids’ was inspired by my own life as a pastor’s kid. Not just my own, but also fellow pastor’s kids that I knew
and grew up with. Our lives were blessed but also challenging. Many of us were pressured to be a certain type of child. This
pressure came from our parents, family, members of the congregation and people in the community.

Often times we had an expectation within us for ourselves as well. We subjected ourselves to obedience so that we would not embarrass our parents, the reputation of the church or our faith. In the beginning it was not about our own reputation, but that of everything else around us.
